Building enduring companies.

BCM Capital Partners is the long-term successor for founders and families ready to pass on the company they built. We acquire one exceptional business and lead it ourselves, for decades rather than years.

Our story

We were founded on the belief that the great family businesses of Latin America deserve a successor who will run them, not flip them.

Most owners who want to step back have two options: sell to a strategic buyer that absorbs the company, or sell to a fund that plans its exit on day one. BCM Capital Partners offers a third path. We buy one company, our Managing Partner becomes its full-time CEO, and we build on what you started.

Questions owners ask

Frequently asked

What is a search fund?

A search fund is an investment vehicle created to find and acquire one company, which the searcher then leads as CEO. Investors back the searcher, and the searcher commits years of their career to the business. It is a well-established path for founder succession in the US and Europe, and it is growing quickly in Latin America.

Will my employees keep their jobs?

Yes. We buy companies because of the people already in them. Our plan is to grow the business, which usually means hiring, not cutting.

Do I have to leave the day we close?

No. Most owners stay involved for a transition of 6 to 24 months, full-time or part-time. We agree on this together and write it into the letter of intent.

Can I keep part of the company?

Yes. Many owners keep a minority stake to share in the growth that comes next. We also use seller financing or earn-outs when they help both sides.

How do you keep this confidential?

We sign an NDA before receiving any sensitive information, and we never contact your employees, clients or suppliers without your permission.

Do you work with brokers and advisors?

Yes. We work with M&A advisors, accountants and lawyers, and we respect their fee agreements.
